Please remember Cooperative Extension in your year-end giving. All through the year we are doing cutting-edge research that addresses the issues critical to Merced County. Fumigation alternatives for almonds and sweet potatoes; evaluating almond rootstocks; dairy nutrition, emerging specialty fruit crops, tomato diseases, reducing the impact of dairies on air and water. These are a sampling of the ag projects we do.
Many of you have children or grandchildren in 4-H where we are providing meaningful experiences that encourage initiative and leadership. Our nutrition educators are all over the county helping people develop skills and habits that result in better health and saving money. Our Master Gardener volunteers can be found all around town answering questions and putting on events.
Giving is easy: Click “Make A Gift.” You can also mail a check made out to “UC Regents” to UCCE, 2145 Wardrobe Ave, Merced CA 95341. All of your donation will be used for local programs.
